Berger Paints Q1 FY27 Profit Up 28.6% to ₹405 Crore
Berger Paints is a big company in India that makes paint for homes and buildings.
Every few months, companies tell people how much money they made.
Berger Paints just shared results for the three months that ended in June 2026.
The company earned a lot more profit this time than it did one year ago.
Its profit grew by 28.6 percent compared with the same time last year.
It also sold more paint, with sales going up by 12 percent.
Last year, a fire at one of its warehouses cost the company money, which made last year's profit look smaller.
The company later got money back from an insurance claim.
When a company earns more profit, people who own its shares also get more money for each share.
Berger Paints' consolidated net profit for Q1 FY27 rose 28.6% year-on-year to ₹405.01 crore.
Consolidated revenue from operations increased 12.0% to ₹3,583.75 crore from ₹3,200.76 crore.
Standalone net profit grew 25.5% to ₹368.68 crore, while standalone revenue rose 12.7% to ₹3,226.68 crore.
The year-ago quarter's profit was reduced by an exceptional ₹36.81 crore loss from a warehouse fire; a reversal was recorded in the quarter ended 31 March 2026 on an insurance claim receivable.
Consolidated basic earnings per share improved to ₹3.47 from ₹2.70, and standalone basic EPS rose to ₹3.16 from ₹2.52.
