Mahindra Confirms OTA Sporteq Features for BE 6, XEV Models

Mahindra makes electric cars called the BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S.

The company is launching new features called Sporteq on a new version of the BE 6.

People who already own these cars will still get the new features.

They do not need to buy a new car.

The features will be sent to the cars like a phone or tablet gets a software update.

This is called an over-the-air, or OTA, update.

The updates start in January 2027.

Mahindra calls these cars software-defined vehicles, meaning they can gain new abilities after you buy them.

Some details about which models get which features are still uncertain.
