Delhi Residents Flag Missing Names in Draft Voter Rolls
Kanta Prasad went to a public hearing in Delhi because his name was missing from the draft voter list.
The records said he was dead, but he said he is alive.
He brought identification cards to show this.
He also said he still lives at the same address.
Prasad said he never received the form used in the voter-list review.
His wife and daughter received and completed their forms.
He had also asked officials to correct his father’s name in the records.
That correction had not yet been completed.

His name appeared in the ASDD record under “Death.”
Prasad said he never received an enumeration form, although his wife and daughter did.
He brought his Aadhaar and voter ID cards to a Jan Sunwai in Mangolpuri.
A requested correction to his father’s name in voter records had not been made.
