Dropped Licence Helps Delhi Police Build Minor Rape-Murder Case
Police say a 10-year-old girl was kidnapped and killed in Delhi on June 22.
The main accused is cab driver Bashu Kumar Singh.

Investigators say Singh spent about two-and-a-half hours circling the area and cancelled two rides before allegedly abducting the girl at around 4:15 a.m.
CCTV, automatic number-plate recognition cameras, route reconstruction and timestamped photographs were used to trace Singh’s movements.
Police say Singh’s driving licence was found beside the body, which was concealed beneath three large rocks in a forested area.
The chargesheet cites electronic, physical, witness, biological and forensic evidence, including a scarf, hair and other samples recovered from the car and crime scene.
