PV Sindhu Sports Academy groundbreaking held in Visakhapatnam

A very famous badminton player from India named PV Sindhu is building a big sports school in a city called Visakhapatnam.

The school will teach kids many sports, like badminton, swimming, gymnastics, basketball, and football.

A minister named Nara Lokesh came to the ceremony where they started building the school.

He said the government wants to help girls and all young people do well in sports.

The minister and the government are making a plan to support athletes and create great places for them to train.

Sindhu hopes the school will open by May 2028 and be one of the best sports schools in India.

At the school, chances to join will be based on talent, hard work, and courage, not other things.

Sindhu gave the minister a special racquet she used to win a medal.

The school could help thousands of kids become great athletes one day.
