Pune Metro Records August Ridership High, Revenue Tops ₹11 Crore

Pune Metro had its busiest month of the year in August.

More than 74 lakh people used it during the month.

That was nearly nine lakh more passengers than in July.

The Metro earned ₹11.33 crore from these trips.

The Aqua Line was used by more people than the Purple Line.

August 27 was the busiest day overall, with more than 2.65 lakh passengers.

Officials said daily commuting and the start of the academic year helped increase passenger numbers.

They also said efforts to attract more riders contributed to the growth.
