They also asked for better markets for local products and help for young entrepreneurs.

Dhami said traders and industries are important to the state’s economy.

He promised that the government would work on the concerns raised.

The state is using an online system to make business procedures easier.

The government said more than 29,000 small and medium businesses have been created recently.

A ₹200 crore fund has also been established under the startup policy.

Uttarakhand wants its local products and industries to grow in both the hills and the plains.
