MLA Sindhura Reddy urges citizens to recall freedom fighters' sacrifices

On Saturday, people in a town called Puttaparthi came together to celebrate India's 80th Independence Day.

Two important leaders, MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy and former Minister Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy, were part of the celebration.

They told everyone to remember the brave freedom fighters who worked hard for the country.

They also said every citizen should do their part to help the nation grow and develop.

The celebration was held at the Police Parade Grounds.

Many people joined, including government officials, police personnel, department staff, students and the general public.

Students performed cultural programmes that showed patriotism and Indian culture.
