Ongole tricolour rally marks India's 80th Independence Day
India celebrates a special birthday called Independence Day.
This year was the 80th one.
In a city called Ongole, about 3,000 people walked together in a big parade.
They carried the Indian flag, which has orange, white, and green colours, so it is called a tricolour rally.
Students, young people, government workers, and local leaders all joined.
The walk started at Prakasam Bhavan and ended at Mini Stadium.
A leader called the district collector told everyone that India is free today because many great people made big sacrifices.
He asked everyone to work together to make India even better.
The people also promised to join fun activities like planting trees and taking selfies with the flag.

The collector said today's free India is the result of the sacrifices of many great leaders and urged citizens to work toward the Viksit Bharat and Swarna Andhra 2047 targets.
Special programmes including Har Ghar Tiranga, selfie events, tree planting, and flag rallies are being held for five days.
