Madhya Pradesh Plans ₹31,000 Crore Narmada Expressway for Connectivity
The state of Madhya Pradesh wants to build a new highway called the Narmada Pragati Path.
It will run along the Narmada River and connect many towns and cities.
The road will be 6 to 8 lanes wide and will be about 906 kilometers long inside the state.
It will also reach the border with Gujarat, making a total of about 1,300 kilometers.
The project will cost about ₹31,000 crore and is part of a national program to improve roads.
It will help people travel faster, bring more jobs, and make it easier to visit places like temples and scenic spots.
