The Chief Minister of the Indian state of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, went to a city called Amreli.

He planted a young tree near a place called the Shelter House.

The city wants to plant about 13,000 new trees along its big roads.

It also wants to build a special park called an Oxygen Park, where lots of trees help clean the air.

The goal is to make Amreli a 'Green City' with more nature.

The government is spending four crore rupees, which is a lot of money, on this plan.

The money comes from a special fund called the District Mineral Foundation.

On Saturday, the state's big Independence Day celebration will be held in Amreli, and the Chief Minister will lead it.
