Gujarat CM tells girl students to limit social media distractions
The leader of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, visited a school in a place called Amreli.
He talked to the girl students who study there.
He told them to spend less time on social media, television, and short video reels.
He said they should manage their time well and stay focused on their goals.
He told them it is okay to have fun, but they should never do things that hurt others.
He also said that having good values makes a person special.
He talked about how women can be leaders too, in local councils and in India's Parliament.
Many years ago, only 73 girls studied at this school.
Now, about 8,000 girls study there in more than 12 schools and colleges.
He encouraged the students to work hard for their own success and for the country's progress.

Patel spoke at the Shantaben Haribhai Gajera Shaikshanik Sankul during state-level celebrations of the 80th Independence Day.
He said the 33 per cent reservation for women in Lok Sabha and Legislative Assemblies, along with 50 per cent participation in local self-government, would strengthen women's role in addressing social issues and law-making.
Patel advised students to enjoy life but ensure their actions and behaviour did not hurt others, adding that 'good values shape a person's identity'.
The Gajera Shaikshanik Sankul, which began in 1997 with 73 girls, now has around 8,000 girls studying across more than 12 schools and colleges.
