Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Completes Arrangements for Annual Salakatla Brahmotsavams
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is ready for a major festival honoring Lord Venkateswara.
The festival is called the Salakatla Brahmotsavams.
It will begin with a seed-sowing ceremony on the 14th.
A flag-hoisting ceremony will take place on the 15th.
The main celebrations will continue through the 23rd.
This year, the festival will happen twice because there is an extra lunar month.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will offer silk robes and attend a special procession service.
He will also open a renovated museum, electric buses, and an insurance scheme for devotees.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has completed extensive arrangements for the Salakatla Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara.
Ankurarpana will be held on the 14th from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by Dhwajarohanam on the 15th from 6:21 PM to 6:35 PM.
The celebrations will run from the 15th through the 23rd of the month.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will present silk robes and attend the Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva on the 15th.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate a renovated SV Museum, 25 Reliance-donated electric buses, and a devotees’ group insurance scheme on the 16th.
