Chief Minister to Offer Silk Robes at Tirumala Brahmotsavams

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit Tirumala on September 15.

He will give traditional silk robes to Lord Venkateswara for the state government.

This will happen during the start of the Salakatla Brahmotsavams.

The festival begins with ceremonies on September 14 and 15 and continues until September 23.

The Chief Minister will also join a religious procession and inaugurate 25 electric buses on September 16.

The temple administration expects many pilgrims to attend, especially during Garuda Seva.

It plans to provide food to about 9.30 lakh people on that day.

Thousands of police, security workers and sanitation workers will help manage the crowds.

Another Brahmotsavam festival is scheduled for October 12 to 20.
