NTA To Release UGC NET 2026 Answer Key This Week
There is a big test in India called UGC NET that students take to become teachers or researchers.
The people who made the test are called the National Testing Agency, or NTA for short.
The test was held on several days in June and again on July 5.
After a big test, the test makers share a special paper called an answer key that shows the right answers.
This helps students check how they did.
The NTA said on August 10 that the answer key and the students' answer sheets will be posted on their website this week.
If a student thinks one of the answers is wrong, they can complain.
To complain, they have to pay 200 rupees for each answer they think is wrong, and the money is not given back.
The complaints must be sent on time and on the official website, or they will not be looked at.
This test decides if students can become junior research fellows, assistant professors, or join PhD programs in Indian universities.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to publish the UGC NET 2026 answer key, response sheet, and question paper on its official portal this week.
The official announcement was made on August 10, 2026.
UGC NET examinations were conducted on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, with a retest on July 5, 2026.
Candidates can challenge the answer key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per key challenged, along with valid justification and proof.
Only paid challenges submitted within the stipulated time through the prescribed link will be considered for review.
