UGC NET 2026 Answer Key Challenge Link Closes Today
Many students in India took a big test called UGC NET to become eligible to teach in colleges.
After the test, the exam agency, called NTA, shares a list of correct answers called an answer key.
Students can check the answer key online and see their own answer sheets.
If a student thinks an answer on the key is wrong, they can challenge it.
The NTA has opened this challenge window for a few days, from August 16 to 18.
Today, August 18, is the last day to submit a challenge.
Students have to pay Rs 200 for every challenge they make.
If experts agree that a challenge is correct, the answer will be fixed for everyone who took that subject.
The final results will be made using the corrected answer key.
Some subjects, like English, Commerce, and Sociology, will have a re-exam in September instead.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) closes the UGC NET June 2026 answer key challenge link today, August 18, as per the official schedule.
The objection window is open from August 16 to 18, 2026, per a public notice issued on August 16.
Provisional answer key PDFs and challenge links have been issued for 84 of the 87 subjects in which exams were conducted.
Re-exams for English, Commerce, and Sociology have been announced for September 9 and 10.
Candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per challenged answer key; only paid, justified challenges filed via the prescribed link will be considered.
