Uttar Pradesh pickup overturn kills one, injures nearly 30 devotees
A truck was taking a group of people to a holy river called the Ganga.
The truck was driving very fast.
It lost control and overturned on its side.
This happened on a highway in a place called Kaushambi in India.
One person died in the accident.
Almost thirty other people were hurt.
Some of the hurt people are very badly injured and are now in the hospital.
Police came quickly and took the injured people to the hospital for treatment.
The district leader said ambulances were sent right away when they heard the news.
People thanked the police for helping so fast, and police are now looking into what happened.

The accident occurred Monday morning on the Malaka Highway in the Kokhraj police station area while the group was traveling to the River Ganga.
Several of the injured are reported to be in critical condition and are undergoing treatment at the medical college.
Station House Officer Santosh Sharma and his police team reached the spot immediately and used his official government vehicle to transport the injured to hospital.
District Magistrate Amit Kumar Pal confirmed 30 people were injured, and police have sent the deceased's body for post-mortem and initiated legal proceedings.
