Pilgrim killed, 30 injured as pickup overturns in Kaushambi
A group of people were riding in a small pickup truck to visit a holy temple called Maa Sheetla Dham for a sacred bath.
The truck was carrying 36 people, which was more than it should carry.
On the way, the truck flipped over on a big highway called NH-19.
The driver tried to pass a bus and lost control of the truck.
Sadly, an 18-year-old man named Ram Sharan died in the accident.
Many other people were hurt in the crash.
Ambulances took the injured people to the district hospital.
Six people with the most serious injuries were moved to another hospital in Prayagraj.
Police think the truck was going too fast, which caused the crash.
The district's top officials came to the hospital to check on the injured.
