Supreme Court Hopeful of Amicable Resolution in Kapur Trust Row
A family is having a big fight over money and property.
The family used to be led by a man named Sunjay Kapur, who passed away last year while playing polo.
Now his mother, Rani Kapur, and his wife, Priya Kapur, disagree about who should control the family trust and its assets.
The highest court in India, the Supreme Court, is helping them.
It asked a very famous former judge, D Y Chandrachud, to be a mediator.
A mediator is a helper who talks to both sides and tries to find an agreement.
The mediator has met with the family six times, and the court says the talks are going quite well.
The court wants the family to keep talking so they do not get stuck in long legal battles.
The talks will continue until November 2.
