Mahindra Targets Global Pickup Exports With Lifestyler
Mahindra & Mahindra has designed a new pickup truck called the Lifestyler.
It will be sold in India as the Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler starting in April 2027.
In other countries, it will be called the Mahindra Lifestyler.
The company wants to sell it in places such as South Africa, Australia, the Middle East and Latin America.
Mahindra may also try to enter more Southeast Asian markets.
The company says the pickup could be useful for camping, family trips and other outdoor activities.
Mahindra is also selling more electric SUVs than before.
Electric vehicles made up 12% of its SUV volume, and electric four-wheeler sales increased sharply last fiscal year.
Mahindra & Mahindra plans to export its new Lifestyler pickup to South Africa, Australia, the Middle East and Latin America.
