BJP Tiranga Rally Turns Into Attack on Telangana CM Revanth
In Hyderabad, a big group of people walked together carrying the Indian flag.
This walk is called a Tiranga rally, and it happened because Independence Day is coming soon.
The walk started near a statue of Dr B.R. Ambedkar and ended at a statue of Swami Vivekananda.
Many thousands of people joined, including students and citizens.
Some important leaders from the BJP party spoke at the rally.
They were angry with the Chief Minister of the state, Mr Revanth Reddy.
They said he should act against other leaders who did not want to sing the national song, Vande Mataram.
Some speakers also said the Congress party should give young people important jobs in the government.
Many people came to listen and show their love for India.
Telangana BJP held a large Tiranga march at Tank Bund in Hyderabad as part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign ahead of Independence Day.
The rally, flagged off by state BJP president N. Ramchander Rao, ran from the Dr B.R. Ambedkar statue to the Swami Vivekananda statue with thousands of participants.
Union minister G. Kishan Reddy attacked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over MIM leaders' reported opposition to singing Vande Mataram, daring the CM to send them to Cherlapalli jail.
Union minister of state for home Bandi Sanjay Kumar urged Congress to induct Gen-Z leaders into the state Cabinet and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's record.
Notable participants included badminton player Saina Nehwal, actor Sai Kumar, former Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and several MPs and MLAs.
Congress and MIM countered that the BJP was politicizing patriotic symbols for electoral gain and deflecting attention from governance failures.
