Komatireddy Launches Rs 23.85 Crore Nalgonda Development Works
Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy started several construction projects in Nalgonda.
The projects include a bridge and new roads.
Together, the two newly launched works cost Rs 23.85 crore.
The city is also getting an Outer Ring Road.
More roads and drains are being built inside the town.
The government is constructing 12 water tanks to improve drinking water supply.
Electricity substations, parks and crematoriums are also planned or being developed.
Officials said the improvements should help Nalgonda grow more quickly.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy laid foundation stones for development projects worth Rs 23.85 crore in Nalgonda.
A Rs 9.40-crore project will build a high-level bridge and roads from ST Colony to Addanki Road.
Road improvements between the BSNL office near Panagal and the District Education Officer’s office will cost Rs 14.45 crore.
An Outer Ring Road costing Rs 900 crore and Rs 500 crore of internal CC roads and drainage works are under way.
The government is constructing 12 water tanks costing Rs 125 crore to support 24-hour drinking water supply.
