Tummala Nageswara Rao Pledges Integrated Development for Khammam

Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said he wants to make Khammam a leading city in the state.

He said serving people, rather than gaining personal benefits, was his main goal.

New road and lighting works costing about Rs 12 crore have begun.

The government also plans to improve education, healthcare, roads, drainage and government buildings.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has approved Rs 250 crore for Khammam’s drinking water needs.

Officials were told to build overhead water tanks and work toward supplying water all day and night.

Tummala also asked officials to protect innocent and poor people while taking action against wrongdoing.

He urged residents to help maintain the new public infrastructure.
