Nalgonda’s Rs 125 Crore Water Project Targets Six-Month Completion
Nalgonda is planning many projects to improve the town.
The biggest project mentioned is a Rs 125 crore drinking water system.
It is meant to give people water all day and night.

A large irrigation tunnel called the SLBC tunnel is also being worked on.

Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said Rs 125 crore works were underway to provide 24-hour drinking water to Nalgonda town.
The drinking water project is expected to be completed within six months, according to the minister.
The SLBC tunnel is targeted for completion by August 2028, with its estimated cost rising from Rs 2,000 crore to Rs 5,000 crore.
An Outer Ring Road costing Rs 900 crore and road improvement works worth about Rs 1,400 crore are underway in Nalgonda.
The minister also announced funding for a school, library, drainage system, ward roads and expansion of the Nalgonda Club.
