Andhra Chess Academy Opens to Develop NTR District Talent
A new chess academy has opened at Sarada College in Vijayawada.
It is the first Andhra Chess Academy in NTR district.
Two chess associations created it with support from the college society.
The academy will give students professional chess coaching.
About 40 students joined on the first day.
Classes will take place three times a week.
The organizers want chess training to be affordable.
They also hope to find and develop talented players from the district.
The Andhra Chess Academy was launched at Sarada College in Vijayawada.
The academy was jointly established by the Andhra Chess Association and NTR District Chess Association.
Sarada College Educational Society supported the initiative through a formal MoU.
About 40 students attended the academy’s opening-day coaching session.
Classes will be held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at the college.
