Indira Mahila Shakti sarees symbolise women's dignity: MLA Nagaraju
A man named Mr. Nagaraju is an MLA, which is a kind of government leader, and he used to be a police officer.
He went to a garden called HRS Gardens in a village called Mamunur.
Many women gathered there for a special event.
Mr. Nagaraju gave each woman a saree, a traditional piece of clothing worn by women in India.

He said women are being given a key role in implementing government welfare programmes aimed at improving their economic condition.
The MLA assured that every eligible woman would receive an Indira Mahila Shakti saree.
