Odisha Disburses Fifth Subhadra Instalment to Over One Crore Women
Odisha gave many women the fifth payment under the Subhadra Yojana.
The payment was Rs 5,000 for each eligible beneficiary.

The money was released at an event in Lathipada in Nayagarh district on Friday, during Raksha Bandhan.

The government also said it was supporting women entrepreneurs and had created 27 lakh Lakhpati Didis.

The government said it had created 27 lakh Lakhpati Didis and launched a Women Entrepreneurship Platform offering training, market links and financial assistance.
