Naidu tells Andhra women to turn welfare into income
The leader of a big state in India called Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Naidu, met with many women who get help from the government.
He rode the bus with them to his office and they talked together.
They were celebrating that it had been one year since a special program started.
That program lets women ride free on buses.
Mr. Naidu said women are very good with money, sometimes better than big companies.

The programme marked the first anniversary of the Stree Shakti free bus travel scheme.
Naidu urged women to use government schemes to build incomes, businesses, and self-employment for greater self-reliance.
He said DWCRA groups hold around Rs 25,000 crore in bank savings and praised women's financial discipline in repaying bank loans.
Naidu said the government is using the P4 (Public-Private-People-Partnership) model to improve the economic condition of poor families.
He called for an 'Anu Nenu' approach, urging people to take responsibility for developing their families, villages, and the state.
Naidu linked education with development, noting the 'Thalliki Vandanam' scheme for all children and health initiatives such as Sanjeevani.
