Two Nellore Teachers Selected for Finland Training Programme
Two school teachers from India are going on a special trip to a faraway country called Finland.
Their names are Mr. Dominic Reddy and Dr Chennayya, and they teach at government schools in SPSR Nellore district.
In Finland, they will learn better ways to teach young children to read, write, and do maths.
This kind of learning is called Foundational Literacy and Numeracy training.
They will fly to Finland on August 15, and the training will run from August 17 to 26.
They are not going alone — 29 teachers from Andhra Pradesh are going with them.
All of them won the State Best Teacher Award, which Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu presented on September 5, 2025.
The district's education officer says he is very proud of them.
