Andhra Pradesh Teachers Begin Finland Training Under Education Reforms

Twenty-nine award-winning teachers from Andhra Pradesh are learning about education in Finland.

Their training is part of the state government’s education reforms.

Finnish experts first gave them an orientation in Vijayawada.

The teachers are now visiting schools and observing classes in Turku and Rauma.

They are learning how to design useful classroom projects and make lessons more collaborative.

They are also studying ways to build reading and language skills through stories, drama, games and books.

After returning, they will receive online guidance from University of Turku professors.

They will share what they learn with other teachers and help improve children’s learning and well-being.
