New Dungarpur-Banswara-Ratlam rail line work progressing smoothly

A big new train track is being built in India to connect the towns of Ratlam, Banswara, and Dungarpur.

The track will be 189 kilometers long, which is like driving for many hours.

Building it will cost about 2,083 crore rupees, a very large amount of money.

The state government of Rajasthan and the Indian Railways are splitting the cost equally.

The government also gives the land needed for the track without charging for it.

So far, workers have gotten almost 646 hectares of the 1,736 hectares of land they need.

They have already spent 243 crore rupees on the work.

More train tracks are being planned nearby, including a 380-kilometer line to help people in tribal areas.

Before that can start, experts and government officials must check and approve the plans.

So the work is moving ahead, but slowly, because many approvals are still needed.
