Telangana has proposed 17 railway projects across the state.

Together, the projects would cover 2,023 kilometres.

They are estimated to cost ₹50,870 crore.

The state has sent detailed plans to the Railway Board.

Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju asked for the plans to be approved quickly.

Officials are also working on land, roads, bridges and other problems that could delay construction.

More plans will be made for trains around Hyderabad and its ring roads.

The state also wants to study future terminals, MMTS expansion and possible bullet train connections.
