Himachal Pradesh Plans First Ozone-Based Water Plant in Dehra

Himachal Pradesh plans to build its first ozone-based plant to clean drinking water.

The plant will be built in Dehra in Kangra district.

The government has set aside Rs 46 crore for it.

Officials say similar plants may be built in other parts of the state later.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu also announced a veterinary hospital in Baddal Thor.

Government surveys are checking which families may receive help under a welfare scheme.

The state is also supporting forest planting and protection groups.

Sukhu said Dehra would continue to receive money for development work and better education facilities.
