HP's first science college, AIIMS-level ayurvedic institute for Hamirpur: Sukhu

In a place called Himachal Pradesh in India, there is a leader named Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, who is the Chief Minister, the head of the state.

He said that a town called Hamirpur will get the state's very first science college, where students learn about nature and do experiments.

The college will cost about 100 crore rupees, and some of that money has already been given.

He also promised a very big institute for ayurveda, an old Indian way of using natural medicine, which will be as good as the famous AIIMS hospitals and will cover 74 acres of land.

A smaller college for health jobs will also be built there.

The government has opened more than 156 new schools, and thousands of extra students are now going to school.

He also opened new computer labs and a library with tablets, and started building a hostel for girls.

About 11.45 lakh children are expected to start first grade in 2026-27.

He said he is working on fixing the shortage of teachers, and that unlike before, no exam papers have leaked under his government.
