Kangra's Dehra-Beas bridge bars heavy vehicles for safety month

The decision followed consultations with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the Public Works Department and the Police Department on the bridge's current condition.
Only vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of 19 metric tonnes will be allowed to cross the bridge.
Vehicles exceeding the limit must use the Chamba-Pattan and Nadaun bridges as alternative routes.
