Full dress rehearsal held at Red Fort for Independence Day
India celebrates its Independence Day on August 15 every year.
This year will be the 80th celebration.
The biggest event happens at the Red Fort in New Delhi, where the Prime Minister gives a speech.
Before the big day, police did a practice run called a full dress rehearsal.
They wanted to make sure everything would be safe.
Police closed many roads and stopped cars from entering the city.
Only trucks carrying food and other important things were allowed.
Extra police checked many points and patrolled near the Yamuna River.
People were told which roads to avoid so they could find other routes.
The main celebration will happen on August 15.

Shahdara DCP Rajendra Prasad Meena said traffic was completely shut from 10 p.m. the previous night at seven border points adjoining Ghaziabad district in Uttar Pradesh.
Traffic Police Zone-2 Additional CP Dinesh Kumar Gupta said no commercial vehicles were allowed at Capital borders, with only essential commodity vehicles permitted.
Security measures included temporary pickets, continuous patrolling near the Yamuna River's Khadar area behind the Red Fort, and traffic diversions on routes such as C-Hexagon and Tilak Marg.
