Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2026 Registration Begins, Closes August 11
The government of a state in India called Jharkhand is helping students get into medical and dental school.
Every year, many students take a big test called NEET.
The students who pass this test can apply to study to become doctors and dentists.
The application period opened on August 7, 2026.
Students can apply online until August 11, 2026.
They apply on a special website made for the state's medical admissions.
After applying, the board will make a list of all the qualified students.
Then there will be several rounds where students get to choose their college.
The first round of seat selection happens in the late part of August.
Students must pay a small fee to apply, and some students pay less than others.
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has begun online applications for NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates seeking MBBS, BDS, and BHMS admissions under the state quota.
Eligible candidates can submit applications on the official website jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in from August 7 to August 11, 2026, until 3:00 pm.
The counselling process will be conducted in four stages: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round.
The State Merit List will be published on August 12, 2026, with Round 1 seat allotment scheduled from August 22 to August 28, 2026.
Application fees are Rs 500 for General/EWS/BC-I/BC-II candidates and Rs 250 for SC/ST and female candidates of all categories.
