Odisha NEET UG Merit List 2026 Released for MBBS, BDS
Boys and girls who want to become doctors or dentists in India have to take a big test called NEET.
The state of Odisha just made a special list of students who passed this test.
The list has 6,217 names on it.
Students on this list can now ask for seats in medical and dental colleges.
There are 2,009 seats available this year.
Most of these seats are for MBBS, which is the course for becoming a doctor.
The remaining seats are for BDS, the course for becoming a dentist.
Students must choose their favourite colleges before August 17.
After that, on August 19, the state will tell everyone which college seat they got.
The OJEE Committee has released the final NEET UG 2026 state merit list for MBBS and BDS admissions for the 2026-27 academic session.
A total of 6,217 candidates are included in the merit list for counselling under Odisha's 85 per cent state quota.
The Round 1 seat matrix includes 2,009 seats, comprising 1,870 MBBS and 139 BDS seats.
Choice filling and locking for Round 1 counselling is open until August 17, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
Round 1 provisional seat allotment results will be announced on August 19, 2026, at 5 PM.
