Oman responds to stranded Russian crude tanker off Dhofar

A big ship called the Caroline Bezengi got stuck in the water near the coast of Oman.

It is an oil tanker, which is a ship that carries oil.

The ship was carrying oil from Russia when it got into trouble.

Oil is now leaking from the ship into the sea.

When oil leaks into the sea like this, it is called an oil spill.

The oil spill is getting bigger.

The oil could hurt fish and other sea animals.

It could also damage the beaches and coast near where the ship is stuck.

The government of Oman is sending teams to help.

They want to stop the oil from causing damage to nature.
