A famous journalist in India named Tarun Tejpal was sent to jail for 10 years for hurting a woman who used to work with him.

The bad things happened back in 2013.

A smaller court had earlier said he was not guilty, but a bigger court, the Goa bench of the Bombay High Court, said that decision was wrong and found him guilty.

The leaders who work in Parliament wanted a very important leader named Amit Shah to come and talk to them about something that happened to young people protesting in Delhi on July 20.

The Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, CP Radhakrishnan, asked the government to pass along that request.

The government told Parliament that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, spent Rs 557.5 crore on trips to other countries since 2021.

His most expensive trip was to the United States in February 2025.

The Supreme Court said no to Ashish Mishra, who wanted to change the rules of his bail so he could go to family parties, and he is the main person blamed for violence in Lakhimpur Kheri in 2021.

A college in Prayagraj said no to a program where Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was going to talk to students about exam paper leaks, because the college said a court order only allows sports and study on the ground.
