Four Senior Doctors Suspended After Gujarat Resident Doctor Suicide
A young doctor who had just started training at a big hospital in Surat, India, died by suicide.
His fellow student doctors said that some older doctors had been very mean to him.
The state government set up a special group to find out what really happened.
The group talked to more than 80 young doctors to understand the truth.
They found that four older doctors had been harassing him and making him feel terrible.
Because of this, those four doctors were suspended, which means they cannot do their jobs right now.
The leader of that hospital department and other teachers also got warnings for not protecting the young doctors.
The health minister said that treating junior doctors badly is not acceptable.
He asked any student who is being bullied to tell someone in charge instead of doing something harmful.
He also called the young doctor's father to say sorry and promised that the family would get justice.

The special investigation committee completed its enquiry within 24 hours, recording statements from more than 80 first-year resident doctors.
The preliminary report of the Anti-Ragging Committee found the four senior doctors directly responsible for causing mental harassment.
The Head of Department and teaching staff were served show-cause notices for allegedly failing to ensure the safety of junior doctors.
Gujarat Health Minister Praful Pansheriya urged junior doctors facing harassment to contact him directly before taking any extreme step and assured the deceased doctor's family of complete justice.
