Two resident doctors appear before police in Surat ragging suicide case
Something very sad happened at a medical college in Surat, India.
A young doctor named Dr Harsh Pandya, who was 29 years old, was found in his hostel room and had passed away on August 9.
He was a first-year student learning to become a doctor.
His friends went looking for him because he did not come to his duty.
Some older students were accused of ragging, which means bullying younger students, and that is against the rules.
The college leaders told the police about the suspected ragging.
Police are now asking questions to find out what happened.
Two of the four accused senior doctors spoke to the police on Friday, and the other two are expected to go on Saturday.
