Bengaluru Plans Charging Hubs as Women Auto Training Expands
A programme in Bengaluru is helping women learn to drive auto-rickshaws.
It gives them free training and support in getting driving licences and access to autos.

B.PAC hopes to train 10,000 women auto drivers across Bengaluru by 2030.
MLA Manjula Aravind Limbavali said charging stations, clean toilets and other facilities will be developed for women auto drivers.
The B.PAC-CGI programme provides free driving training, auto-rickshaw access and lessons in financial and digital literacy.
Training also covers basic English, road safety, traffic rules and practical visits to civic and traffic facilities.
The initiative aims to support safer travel for women, particularly IT-sector employees working night shifts in Mahadevapura.
