Bengaluru has only 800-900 public toilets for a population of 1.4 crore.
Audit reveals 26% of toilets are non-functional and only 4.2% are very clean.
Only 9 toilets have ramps, making 94% inaccessible to persons with disabilities.
Water is available in only 40% of functional toilets, and none have soap dispensers or dustbins.
