The new Alluri Sitarama Raju Airport at Bhogapuram is getting ready for its inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 1.

The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) has been working hard to expand and develop roads leading to the airport.

They have widened 26 km of roads, with only a small stretch left.

The VMRDA has also put up directional signboards to help people find their way.

There are plans to improve public transport with electric buses.

This is all to make sure people can easily travel to the new airport.
