Delhi MLA Seeks Local Access Along Elevated Corridor
Delhi is planning a raised road called the Kanjhawala–Mangolpuri Elevated Corridor.
It is meant to help cars and other vehicles move faster.
The proposed road would be about 11.70 kilometres long.
Ravinder Indraj Singh, who represents Bawana, said the road should also help nearby villages.
He wants the project to include entry points that local people can use.
Many villages and rural residents are located in the Bawana area.
Singh made these suggestions during a meeting at the Delhi Secretariat on August 24.
The meeting discussed large road projects planned by the Public Works Department.
The project is expected to reduce traffic in parts of West and North-West Delhi.

The demand was made at a Delhi Secretariat meeting on August 24 about Public Works Department projects.
Singh said the corridor should serve villages and rural communities in Bawana and nearby areas.
The proposed corridor would run approximately 11.70 kilometres over or along the Kanjhawala–Mangolpuri route.
The project is expected to reduce congestion on major roads in West and North-West Delhi.
