Bhatti Seeks Hutti-Singareni Gold Mining Joint Venture Plan
Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka wants Singareni and Hutti Gold Mines to consider working together.
Hutti has experience finding, mining, processing and refining gold.
Singareni has experience exploring and mining coal and other minerals.
Officials will prepare a plan for how the two organisations could cooperate.
The plan may include new technology, technical experts and worker training.
Bhatti said India should produce more gold at home.
He believes this could reduce gold imports and create local jobs.
During his visit, he saw how gold ore is mined and changed into refined gold.
Officials said Hutti produces about two to four kilograms of gold each day.
Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka asked officials to explore a joint venture between Singareni and Karnataka’s Hutti Gold Mines.
The proposed partnership would combine Hutti’s gold expertise with Singareni’s mineral-exploration and mining capabilities.
