Telangana Government Pledges Funds for Brahmin Welfare Programs

Telangana Brahmin Welfare Parishad Chairman Basavaraju Srinivas sought the release of pending funds on September 1, 2026.
Srinivas met Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka alongside IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu.
Vikramarka directed officials to immediately release Rs 6 crore in pending funds.
The Deputy Chief Minister also directed the release of Rs 25 crore that had already received administrative sanction.
The funds are intended to support education, employment, upliftment and financial self-reliance among poor and middle-class Brahmin families.
