IIT-Indore Takes Swachhata Cleanliness Message Beyond Its Campus
IIT Indore organized two days of activities about keeping places clean.
The activities took place on September 23 and 24 as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign.
Staff learned how to separate waste into four groups.
They were also asked to reduce waste, reuse items, recycle and avoid plastic.
On the second day, professional performers presented a street play.
The play explained cleanliness, hygiene and helping the community.
More than 120 students from a school in Dewas watched and joined the programme.
The institute hoped these activities would encourage better habits and a cleaner environment.

The campaign included a four-way waste-segregation session for housekeeping and administrative staff.
