Ex-Nepal PM Deuba returns; faction backs Sanatan Dharma, his leadership
Sher Bahadur Deuba used to be the leader of Nepal.
He had been away for more than five months to get medical treatment after being hurt, and now he is back home.
His political group, called the Nepali Congress, held a big meeting.
At the meeting, they decided that Nepal's old religious traditions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Kirat and Prakrit are important.
They want these traditions to be part of what makes Nepal special.
They also promised that every person can still follow their own religion.
They want to change some parts of Nepal's Constitution, but only by talking with everyone and following the rules.
They also decided that Deuba should lead the party's next big gathering.
Deuba and his wife were hurt during big protests last September, when many young people in Nepal were upset with the government.
Now his group is making plans for the future.

The conference said constitutional changes should be made in line with public expectations through dialogue within existing constitutional provisions.
It decided the 15th general convention should be held under Deuba's leadership.
